William F Hagan 78, resident of Port Richmond, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2024. A graduate from North Catholic High School (class of ‘65) he enlisted and devoted 27 years of his life as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army and then the United States National Guard. Bill worked as the Head Electrician for Episcopal Hospital after his service and was a stranger to no one. No matter where he was shouts of “Hey Bill!” or “Hagan!” were heard from all over. He enjoyed attending VFW meetings and dinners to keep in touch with friends and was always eager to help those in need. William found great joy in making memories with his many grandchildren, collecting many tools, which he called his toys, watching his western shows and movies and finding projects to do around the house to keep himself busy and productive.
William will be greatly missed and dearly loved by many. The son of the late James and Rose (nee Haney) Hagan. The late Brother of James Hagan. Survived by His loving wife Maryann (nee Socha) Hagan, his children William Todd (Heather), David Levy (Marybeth), John Levy (Amanda), Tara Huff (Michael), Kimberly Bonanni (Raymond), Tracey, 14 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
