Walter Babik

Walter Babik passed away on September 5, 2021. Beloved husband of Lillian Babik (nee Olender). Loving father of Robert G. Babik (Karen) and Anna Wakeman (Raymond). Dear grandfather of Corey Jackson (Holly), Justin Jackson (Libby), Tyler Babik, Garett Babik and Patrick Wakeman. Also survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother in Poland. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA 19137. On Friday, September 10, 2021, there will be a funeral mass at 10 AM at St. Anne's Chapel, Our Lady of Czestochowa Shrine. Burial to follow in the Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter's name to either the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Philadelphia,PA 19103 or to the Pennsylvania SPCA, 350 E. Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134 would be appreciated by his familiy.
