Thomas L. Malaszecki Sr On August 24, 2015, at the age of 57,Thomas L Malaszecki Sr. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, after a courageous five month battle with cancer. He enjoyed life with his wife Carolyn (Rudolph) of 35 yrs and their three children Kelly Velez (Jimmylee), Thomas Jr (Dana), and Erica (Hank); his grandson James and Baby Malaszecki on the way. Throughout his "dash" Tom was a fun loving dancing machine, golf pro, bowling champ, an animal lover, loving husband, and doting father. He loved spending time with his family whether it was baseball or soccer games, gymnastic or swim meets, cheerleading competitions or dance recitals. He relished in cooking meals for them, planning vacations, and simply spending time together. The most important thing he shared with us was his strength and his love. During the last few months, he continued to live his life with a positive attitude. He refused to give up and fought to the very end. Tom will be greatly missed by many including his sisters, Carol (Carmen), Lucille (Joe), and Kathleen (Stephen). His brother in-laws; Michael (Lee), Steven (Kelly), Jeffrey (Jessica), and Fred (Mary), Mother in-law CarolAnn, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are invited to Slabinski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila, PA 19137 on Tuesday September 1,2015 from 10:30 am-12:30pm followed by his service at 12:30p. Burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Phila.,PA 19103 in Tom's name.
