Theresa Marie Gallagher

Theresa Gallagher, daughter of Benjamin and Theresa Hecht passed away at the age of 65, on May 12, 2023. 
Theresa was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she attended St. Hubert’s Catholic School and later worked for Bell Telephone for many years.  She was a beautiful soul who fiercely loved spending time with her children and babysitting her grandchildren.  She had a hearty laugh, a caring soul and the uncanny ability to strike up a conversation with anyone. 
Theresa is survived by her five children: Vincent (Kristen), Sean, Patrick (Miriam), Theresa (John), Eric (Cindy).  Also her 7 grandchildren: Vincent, Dominic and Nicholas Gallagher, Gabrielle Gallagher, Joslynn and Johnny Sadowski, and Peyton Davis.  Theresa will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, and close friends. 
She was predeceased by her fiancé Michael Wendowski, her parents Benjamin and Theresa Hecht, her two infant children: Maureen and Christian Gallagher, siblings: Carl & Benjamin Hecht, Carol Kersten, and Barbara Hafner.
Relatives and Friends are invited to her Mass of Christian burial on Friday May 19, 2023 at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church 7341 Cottage Street Philadelphia, PA 19136.  Viewing will be held from 9am to 10:30am and her mass will begin at 10:30am.  Entombment to follow at St. Matthew’s Cemetery,  Butler Pike & 12th Avenue Conshohocken, PA .
