NINA, on July 23, 2007. Beloved daughter of Lucy May. Dear sister of Nicholas Shushkevich (Pat), Olga Carnnyk (Jurij) and Sophia May. Also survived by nieces, nephews and their families. Nina was the first Russian/Ukranian Deaf Mute to become a naturalized U.S. Citizen via sign language. Services and interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Nina's memory to the Pennsylvania School of the Deaf, 100 W. Schoolhouse Lane, Phila., PA 19114 would be appreciated by her family.
