Nancy Linwood

Anna "Nancy" (Quinn) Linwood, age 94, of Philadelphia passed away peacefully on February 26, 2020. Nancy was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Martin Linwood. Nancy was the loving mother of Bill (Shirley) Linwood, Patricia (Tom) Duff, Kathleen (Kevin) Murphy, Maryann (Jack) Flynn. Nancy was an ever-present and fiesty "Grandmom" to Marty, Sean, Samantha, Tracy, Patricia, Brian, Jack, Tommy, Chris, Terence, Michelle, and MaryAlice and "GiGi" to 18. Nancy was a woman who loved life, being with her friends, family and community. She made friends everywhere she went. Nancy lived in Fishtown, Port Richmond, Bridesburg and spent her later years in Gloria Dei Towers where she flourished. She was an avid reader, loved a good crossword puzzle, hot cup of coffee and watching Blue Bloods. Relatives and friends are invited gather on Tuesday March 10th from 10 AM to 11 AM in St.John Cantius Church (4400 block of East Thompson Street). Her funeral mass will begin at 11 AM and interment will be held privately. (Parking at St. John Cantius Church is rather limited so you are more than welcome to park in the funeral home parking lot located at 2614 Orthodox Street) In lieu of flowers and in honor of her late husband, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.org.
