Mary Ellen Branka

Mary Ellen A. Branka, 85 (nee McCarron) was called to heaven on August 13, 2024. Daughter of the late Richard V. McCarron Sr., and Ellen Boyle McCarron. Beloved wife of John M. Branka, Sr. Loving mother of Mary Ellen Luciano (John), John M. Branka, Jr. (the late Catherine) and Gerard R. Branka (Emily). Also sadly missed by her grandchildren John Rocco Luciano, Madeline Branka, Eleanor Branka, Vincent Luciano, Lillian Branka, Jack Branka III, and her brother Richard V. McCarron Jr. (Joan). Mary Ellen was a graduate of St. Mary's Academy and the Misericordia School of Nursing. For over 60 years she maintained her nursing license, and for more than 25 years worked as a devoted OB/GYN nurse at Nazareth Hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 9 AM to 10:45 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 606 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA 19046. Funeral Mass will begin 11 AM. Entombment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary Ellen to the St. Joseph’s Prep Football Victory Fund, 1733 W.
