Louise M. Golden

Louise M. Golden (nee Antkowiak), 87, passed away on January 17, 2025. Daughter of the late Stanley and Laura Antkowiak. Dear wife of the late Thomas J. Golden, Sr. Beloved mother of Laureen Taylor (Tom), Thomas J. Golden Jr. (Lynn), Kathleen Samlin (Steve) and the late Louise Santilla. Dearest Babci of Tommy (Mary), Jenny (Ryan), Matt (Kim), Laura (Anas), Matthew (Stephanie). Steffie, Olivia and great-grandmother of Remi (with one on the way). At an early age, our mom worked beside her parents in their grocery store in the Bridesburg neighborhood of Philadelphia. After attending St. John Cantius grade school, she was a dedicated student at Nazareth Academy. She went on to marry her high school sweetheart, Thomas Golden and raise their four children in Bridesburg, Juniata, and later, Southampton. She was employed by Sears as a recruiter for 12 years and spent many years at the Aviation Supply Depot, working with the department of the Navy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, January 24, 2025 beginning at 9 AM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA 19137. Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. John Cantius Church, 4420 E. Thompson St, Philadelphia, PA 19137. Burial to follow at St. Dominic's Cemetery.
