LINDA A., on Nov. 23, 2006. Beloved daughter of the late Anthony and Frances DiSandro. Loving sister of Anita L. DiSandro-Cole and dear sister-in-law of Jim. Linda's professional career began as the Personal Assistant to Dr. Howard Pollack (Chairman of Radiology at Episcopal) and then at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Linda worked with Dr. Pollack for over 17 years and assisted him with founding the Society of Uroradiology. Linda, then with her Education Degree, worked for approximately 10 years at Holy Family University Admissions Office, and before leaving, was Assistant Director of Admissions. Linda continued to be very active in the Holy Family University Alumni Assn. where she received numerous awards for her service. For the past 7 years, Linda was a Guidance Counselor at St. Basil Academy where she impacted the lives of Juniors and Seniors by helping them plan their futures. Anita and Jim will receive relatives and friends on Wed. beginning 9 A.M. at St. John Cantius Church, Thompson and Orthodox Sts., Phila. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 A.M. Int. Holy Redeemer Cem. In lieu of flowers donations in Linda's memory to either Holy Family University, Frankford and Grant Aves., Phila., PA 19114 or to St. Basil's Academy, 711 Fox Chase Rd., Jenkintown, PA 19046 would be appreciated by her family.
