Leslie Ewen, a beloved soul, passed away on September 17, 2023, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy.
She is survived by her children, Melissa Rogers (Ed) and Eddie Lawlor (Julie), grandmother to Connor, Brielle, Jackson, and Abigail, who brought immeasurable joy to her life. Her sisters, Trudy Carter (Art) and Andrea Black (Carl), and brothers Glenn Ewen and Gary Ewen (JaneAnn).
Leslie's journey was marked by the enduring love she had for her family. She was preceded in death by her sister Eleanor, late father George C. Ewen originally from Scotland (May 30, 1975), and her late mother Bette Ferree Ewen Musho (June 27, 2013). Although they have parted ways in this world, their spirits shall forever remain intertwined.
In addition to her immediate family, Leslie leaves behind a vast network of nieces, nephews, dear friends who became family, and a special bond with her loyal companion and best friend Zoey—her faithful dog who provided unwavering comfort throughout the years.
Leslie's professional journey spanned over three decades at ETS where she cultivated friendships and made lasting impacts on those she encountered. Her dedication to her work exemplified what it meant to be committed and passionate. Beyond the confines of work life, Leslie nourished her soul with travels to Scotland—an endeavor that filled her heart with wonder.
Leslie's zest for life extended beyond her career and travels. She found immense joy in the company of her friends at the pool where she resided, relishing in laughter and creating cherished memories. Recently, she happily attended her Neshaminy High School Class of 1978 reunion, reminiscing about shared experiences and embracing the beauty of nostalgia.
As we bid farewell to Leslie, we celebrate the blessings she bestowed upon our lives. Her spirit shone brightly in her kindness, compassion, and unyielding love for those dear to her heart. Though she may no longer be present physically, her memory will be forever etched in our hearts.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Friday September 22nd at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home 2614 Orthodox Street from 9 AM to 11 AM. Her service will begin 11 AM and interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
