Joseph "Poppy Joe" passed away on April 7, 2023. Beloved husband of Jeanette (nee Yeager). Loving Pop to Wesley McMullen (Susan), Carol Goss (Patrick), the late Terry McMullen and Michael McMullen. Poppy to Jennifer (Ric), Christie (Eric), Justin, Julie (Jorgan), Crystal, Andrea (Rob), Colleen (George) and Danielle. Great grandpop to Madison, Nicholas, Chase, Ava, Carter, Harper, Kaiden, Lucas, Logan, Matthew, Mason, Rob, Alexis, Sammy, Braden, Carly, Marc, McKenna, Mya, Bella, Kaeley, Leah and Frankie. Dear brother of Helen Leonardo and Louis Raspa. Joe is the owner and operator of Poppy Joe's restaurant on Aramingo Ave. for 40 years. He loved to cook and feed his customers.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren and his great grandchildren, especially giving them all special nicknames.  Poppy Joe loved playing cards with his friends and going to the beach. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Monday, April 17, 2023 after 9:30am at St. Bartholomew Church 5600 Jackson Street, Philadelphia, PA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30A.M. (Please park you car and enter the church using the parking lot located behind the church off of Cheltenham Avenue),   Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA 19064.
