Jean Burns

Jean Burns (nee Volz) passed away peacefully on October 12, 2022 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late William. Loving mother of Deb Olson (Kevin), Bill Jr. and Diane Nazworth (Ken). Devoted Gram of Lindsey Winters (Greg), Shawn Burns(Lauren), Ryan Shafer and Katie Blair. Dear great grandmom of Madison Jean Burns. Jean is the sister of Pauline Miller, Rita Veil, John Volz, Sharon Anglim and the late Helen Volz, Joan Wackes, Clara Barr, Marie Matthews, Dorothy Wackes and William Volz. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews cousins and lifelong friends. Jean truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great granddaughter. She loved her Phillies and watching the bald eagles flying down at the river. Jean enjoyed her time and friends she made at Silver Sneakers and always loved a good glass of wine. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 8:30am at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila.,PA 19137. (Parking on premises) Services will begin at 10am. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
