Helen Mendla

Helen Mendla, born on December 25, 1929, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Felix L. Mendla, who predeceased her in 2007.

Helen is survived by her devoted son, Christopher; his loving companion of ten years, Maryann; and her cherished grandson, Christopher.

A proud graduate of Frankford High School, Helen worked diligently in medical billing, contributing her skills and dedication to her profession.

Helen found great joy in reading, watching documentaries, and making family dinners, bringing warmth and love to her household. She especially loved spending her summers at her home in Long Beach Island, where she enjoyed the company of her neighbors and the serene coastal life.

In her later years, as her health declined, Helen was deeply grateful for the visits and support from family and friends, which brought her comfort and joy.

Helen was deeply loved by her neighbors and family, who will forever remember her kind and gentle spirit.

Family and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday July 10th 10 AM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church 611 Knowles Ave, Southampton, PA 18966. Her mass will begin 11 AM and Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.

Helen Mendla will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
