HELEN (nee Sobieski)

Age 92, on August 13, 2017. Beloved wife of Joseph for 68 wonderful years. Loving Mom of Janet H. Hildebrand (John F.), Robert J. Lachowicz (Donnamarie) and Linda M. Sheridan (Jack). Devoted grand-mom of Dominic, Andrew, Walter, Jenna and great-grand-mom. Sister of Henry Sobieski (Joanna) and the late Stella Bartkowski and Wanda Lachowicz. Survived by brother-in-law, Louis Lachowicz and his wife, Elaine, along with many nieces and nephews.
Helen was a talented artist and craftsperson whose paintings and afghans grace our homes. Smart and witty, a stunning beauty, she was a homemaker extraordinaire and had a keen fashion sense. After raising her children, she joined her husband in running Lachowicz & Sons. She was born in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia and resided in Bensalem for 60 years. She was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo and a devout follower of St. Katharine Drexel. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Sat., Aug. 19th, 12 to 12:30 P.M., at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd., Bensalem PA 19020. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:30 P.M. Int. Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem PA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's memory to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
