Helen Lachowicz

LACHOWICZ Helen (nee Sobieski) age 92 on August 13, 2017. Beloved wife of Joseph for 68 wonderful years. Loving Mom of Janet H. Hildebrand (John F.), Robert J. Lachowicz (Donnamarie) and Linda M. Sheridan (Jack). Devoted grandmom of Dominic, Andrew, Walter, Jenna and great grandmom. Sister of Henry Sobieski (Joanna) and the late Stella Bartkowski and Wanda Lachowicz. Survived by brother-in-law Louis Lachowicz and his wife Elaine along with many nieces and nephews. Helen was a talented artist and craftsperson whose paintings and afghans grace our homes. Smart and witty, a stunning beauty, she was a homemaker extraordinaire and had a keen fashion sense. After raising her children, she joined her husband in running Lachowicz & Sons. She was born in the Bridesburg section of Philadelphia and resided in Bensalem for 60 years. She was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo and a devout follower of St. Katharine Drexel. Many thanks to her family, friends, neighbors, Dr. Tiffany Leonard and staff and VITAS Hospice for their kindness. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Sat. Aug. 19th 12-12:30PM at St. Charles Borromeo RC Church, 1731 Hulmeville Rd.,Bensalem, PA 19020. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:30PM. Int. Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
