Harriett Glassey on November 6, 2019. Beloved wife of Richard Glassy. Loving mother of Debbie Evans, Michael Astler (Jammie), Betty Glassey and Michael Glassey (Sidney Webb). Also sadly missed by her grandchildren Doug, Jonathan, Joann, Kyle, Jordan, Charles, Shawn, Faith and Joyce and her brothers Mark Paynter, Bruce Paynter and David Paynter. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday, November 15th, 2019 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Philadelphia, PA 19137. Interment will be held privately. 'A good mom is not made, she is built. She is built by the hardship of her role. The tears she cries in secret, and by the lessons she learns through trial and errors. The passionate mom lives in all of us. She makes mistakes. She has strong opinions that she often can't express. She makes sacrifices others may not be capable of. She loved in many different ways and she gives her all. She gave us her heart and soul. She remained quiet when she wanted to scream. And in her life time, she made sure her children and a child she didn't give birth to, smile and have wonderful memories and most importantly feel loved in so many ways possible.'
