Gloria Dunn

Gloria Dunn passed away after a long illness on April 22, 2025 at the age of 66. She was a resident of Philadelphia, PA. Beloved mother of Izabela (Brian) Cohen and Karol (Katarzyna) Dolchanczyk. Loving grandma (Bacia) of Kyler and Amanda, Max, Brandon, Kaia and Kaden. She is survived by her brothers Aleksander and Alfred Toczek and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Poland.

Gloria is now reunited in Heaven with her parents Bronislaw and Genowefa Toczek and siblings Malgorzata, Zofia, Miroslaw, Danuta and Krzysztof.

Gloria came to America from communist Poland in the late 1980's. She was determined to pave the way for her children and bring them to this prosperous country. Her courageous and determined spirit guided her in achieving that goal. It was one of the proudest moments of her life when she finally succeeded.

Gloria will be remembered for having a loving heart, a warm smile and a strong Catholic faith.

She loved all nature, animals, especially dolphins. One of her favorite activities was taking a day trip down the shore, walk on a boardwalk and look into the ocean.

Gloria loved flowers and gardening was her passion. She took so much joy in watching her flowers blossom.

She will be deeply missed and live in our hearts forever.

Mamo, zniknęłaś nam z oczu ale z serca nigdy. Wieczne odpoczywanie racz Ci dać Panie a światłość wiekuista niechaj Ci świeci. Odpoczywaj w pokoju wiecznym. Amen.

Dobry Jezu a nasz Panie, daj jej wieczne spoczywanie.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet Gloria’s family and celebrate her life on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in St. John Cantius Church located at 4412 E. Thompson Street, from 10 AM to 11 AM followed by her 11 AM Funeral Mass.
