Age 65

Ewa passed away and was welcomed into God’s care on February 22, 2024. Beloved and devoted mother to Donna “Tina” Saraczewska.  She is survived by the Tarkowski and Tantala families in Poland, including her niece Krysia, and many cousins and extended family. Here in the United States, Ewa will be sadly missed by the Tantala family and the Goral family and their extended families and many dear friends.  Ewa taught for 30 years for the School District of Philadelphia. She was a 3rd order Dominican. She loved and was very proud of her Polish heritage and community.  Ewa was a true kind and gentle soul; she loved helping her people and she loved St. John Cantius Church.  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 5pm-7pm at the Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila.,PA 19137.  On Monday, February 26, 2024 all are welcome to gather at 12 noon for Ewa’s mass at the Chapel on the grounds of the cemetery of the Shrine of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.  Mass will begin at 12:30pm. Interment to follow in Czestochowa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ewa’s name to St. John Cantius Church 4415 Almond St., Phila.,PA 19137 or to Childrens’ Hospital of Philadelphia for Pediatric Cancer by visiting give2.chop.edu (http://give2.chop.edu/)
