Elaine S. Molczan

Elaine Stella Molczan, age 88, passed into the loving arms of our Lord on July 21, 2020, after a long fight with Alzheimer's. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles J. Molczan, son Joseph, her parents Bartholomew and Stella (nee Hejnar) Martin, and her brother, Joseph Martin. She started as a keypunch operator with the IRS and worked her way up to becoming a department manager. Elaine was an avid Eagles fan who enjoyed needlepoint, reading, watching golf on TV, and tinkering in her flower garden. When her girls were younger, she was also active in Girl Scouting. Elaine is survived by her five daughters, Helen (Timothy, d.) Maher of Philadelphia, PA, Karen (Joseph, d.) Douchette of Philadelphia, PA, Donna (Adam, d.) Freeman of Kansas City, MO, Catherine (John) Schriner of Marietta, OH, and Linda (James) McGee of New Milford, PA, 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Resurrection of Our Lord Church in Philadelphia, PA, with final interment at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.
