Delphine Hawthorne

Delphine (nee Butterworth), age 83, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021. She is the wife of the late Andrew "Andy Gump" Hawthorne. Loving mother of Anndrea, Kevin and Shawn (Donna) Hawthorne. Devoted grandmother of Brittany (Garrett), Daniel and Marissa; great grandmother of Daniel, Jr., Brianna, Andrew, Garrett, Mariah and Kevin. Delphine is also survived by her brother Kenneth Butterworth. Relatives and friends are invited to gather Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 at 9am at St. John Cantius Chapel, 4400 Block of E. Thompson St. Phila., PA 19137. Her funeral mass will follow at 10am. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Delphine's memory to St. John Cantius Church, 4415 Almond St., Phila, PA 19137 would be appreciated by her family.
