Carol D. Deitz

Carol Deitz, affectionately known as “Sissy” passed away peacefully in her home on September 21, 2024 at the age of 75. Carol was born and raised in Philadelphia to the late Josephine and John Dickson. She is predeceased by her husband Robert Gray Deitz, siblings, John, William and Nancy.  Carol was the beloved mother of Kenneth Farrell (Phyllis), Susan Rossi (Frank), Kensie, her Border Collie, and step-mother to Robert Deitz (d. Karen). Carol will be missed dearly by her devoted sisters Patricia Bolli (d. Mike) and Candy Dickson. She was the cherished Nanny to Kenneth Farrell III, Deaven Shade, Madison Gray (Jason), Nicole Schumacher (Michael), Samantha Lemke (Jim), Bobbie Schumacher (Jack), Robert Deitz Jr, Jillian Deitz and loving great grandmother to Kaylee and Jason Gray Jr., Abigail Lemke, Robert Nevins, Owen and Avery Gorham. Carol will be sorely missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews as well as her dearest friends, Verda Muller and Eric Silenok.  Carol found joy spending time at home with her granddaughter, Deaven and dog, Kensie. She especially enjoyed spending summers at her campground. Carol was loved by many and will be deeply missed.  Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral  Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 9-10:30am at Slabinski Sucharski Funeral Home, 2614 Orthodox Street, Phila, PA 19137.(Parking on premises) Services will begin at 10:30am. Inurnment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 4500 Levick Street, Phila, PA 19135.
