Lee (Angelina) Giandonato of South 23rd street passed away peacefully on January 6 at age 89. Aunt Lee worked as a bookkeeper for U.S. Marine Corps, was active with St. Edmond's Church all her life, and contributed to many charities. She took us to Philadelphia Orchestra concerts and lunches at the Crystal Room, and made possible more than one summer vacation in Wildwood. Lee liked traveling, making birthday cards and Christmas wreaths, cooking extra-healthy meals and baking biscotti. She cared for both parents in their home through each of their illnesses, until their deaths. She soldiered through a bout of breast cancer and lived a long, healthy life until Alzheimer's Disease slowed her down in her 70s. Lee will be remembered at a memorial mass at St. Edmond's Church on February 23 at 10 am. Visitation and remembrance begins at 9:30. For more information please call Regina DeAngelo at 401-207-9179.
